ALBUR is a commissioned project developed with the intention of creating an outdoor beer garden table by modernizing its concept.
Developed in 2015 it is a modern interpretation of the classic table with folding legs, the object acquires a less rustic character and is suitable for use in domestic settings.
The name "ALBUR" is a dialectal expression corresponding to the word tree, but, in ancient times, it was also used to refer to the chestnut tree, being the shrub with the largest spread in southern Switzerland
Therefore, it was decided to use local chestnut boards for the construction of the product, in this way, in addition to the development of the local material, an attempt is made to revive the essence of the material, which has long been little used as a raw material.
